Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.

Memory Reflections
One memory that sticks for me are Nutter Butters at the pool. We’d hook up to our “bubbles” and burn our kid energy jumping into the pool and swimming for hours. After some time, grand-mom would come out with a tray of drinks and Nutter Butters. Grand-mom loved Nutter Butters and so of course, we did too. The memory sticks not so much from the cookies, ...but the warm feeling and love they represented. Subtle, seemingly small memories like these can live on like a warm hug more than 30 years later.

Having fun is vital to leading a fulfilling life, and it’s a gift my grandparents gave me. So many family dinners and evenings spent together where several full-out belly laughs were shared by all. They showed us by example that having fun was all about letting go. Living the moment. And, playing like a child.

My father bought my first train set in 1950 when I was seven years old. Still run it today, and my grandson has become a train fanatic too. I've got a "secret room" for my trainsets in the finished crawlspace over the garage and the grandkids love going up to play trains with me. Guess its in the genes! We also love to see, smell, and hear the old steamies at a local train museum.

Enjoy this YouTube hit called Charlie bit me. Not only will it bring a smile to your face, you'll smile again later today just thinking about it!
This video was a magic moment captured at the parade for 2008 World Series Champions Philadelphia Phillies. A yougster playing the game "How big is Will?" game with mom creates a spontaneous & crowd-pleasing moment...

Muppets do the Bohemian Rhapsody. What a great show! I found some Muppets DVDs at the local library and my kids loved them. Have your grandchildren met Kermit and the gang yet?
Now my personal favorite Muppet doing Ode to Joy. Legacy lesson to be learned from Beaker? Do it with passion. And, even when nothing goes your way (the norm for Beaker), never quit!
The Dad Life. You've got to see this video done by a church group in Oklahoma, released around Father's Day 2010. Spoof of daily life of a modern day dad, but filmed in a "gangsta" style video as you might see on MTV. "I roll hard in the yard with a 60" cut"
