A worthy legacy takes time & effort as do all great endeavors. I hope you’ve taken the critical steps to think through in detail all the steps leading up to this one on this webpage…but make no mistake! Going through the exercise of soul-searching, defining and planning a legacy does not a legacy make!

But it IS an incredibly empowering first step. The first step is the ONLY one upon which the greatest dreams in history came to be.

Remember ground-rush and the insight that the human brain does not perceive trends very well. Don’t worry about visible progress. Focus on taking steps.

Lean on your will to win when the seas get rough. You will need physical, mental, and emotional perseverance for the journey.

Make friends with your subconscious by training your brain. The crashing waves will rock your boat from all sides…lifes’ daily distractions, and even the criticism or negative energy of FAMILY and FRIENDS. Love & accept them for all they bring to your life…but never forget that YOU are in charge to have your brain filter out the NEGATIVES. Don’t criticize them for their behavior…it’s human nature. In fact…share your BRAIN TRAIN insight with your family & friends.

People change. Both you and your grandchildren will have evolving interests & passions. Be sure to re-assess your legacy periodically to make necessary course corrections.

You may even need to move the goalpost as you go. This is fine! The key is to keep moving forward.

Build a team of support people who are aware of your legacy. You are alone at the wheel of the ship. However, by sharing your purpose and objectives…you may find more lighthouses popping up on the shores.

Ask for support. And pray for it too!

Make concrete plans and execute small steps that build up to bigger goals. Reward yourself for each win. Try new methods. Expand on earlier wins with even more ambitious plans.
